responsibility

i just spent 2 hours listening to an AIESECer talk about Estonia.
and boy was it...

interesting! :D

saw many pictures of how Estonia looks like, and i'm feeling so tempted to go there.
the buildings everywhere are like those you see when you read enid blyton books.
the brick-like walls and buildings... and just very Harry Potter-ish.
u get what i mean?
and like,
going to the forests to pick berries to make jam for the Estonians(sounds like some story frm a children's book right?) is like going to Giant to buy groceries for us.
supposedly these Estonians know which berries and poisonous, which are not.
and you can just pick and eat them.
it's FREE!
haha.. that's besides the point.
but anyway, what i'm trying to say is that we are so out of touch with nature.
tell me what forest is there in Singapore where you can pick berries.
but that is of course ridiculous, 'cos our weather's not suitable.

1 more interesting fact about the climate in Estonia.
it's so cooling that you can store apples for months!!!
and when you take them out,
they'll still be crunchy and fresh!!
i really have to see this for myself.
if u leave an apple in the open in Singapore for more than 2 weeks,
it'll definitely be a very rotten apple.

still waiting at 5:29 pm
