goodbye...

goodbye to Penny Teo,
goodbye to Yong Soo Keong,
goodbye to So Bee Soon,
goodbye to Xu Chengxian,
goodbye to Lo Yuet Keung.

exams are OVER!

as my friend put it, the exams were a short and sweet misery.
ended within a span of 6 days,
as compared to a month like some of my NTU friends.

but it was TOO short.
papers on 20th, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 26th.
not much time for proper revision.
many unexpected obstacles arose too.
just praying hard that i'll at least pass the papers.
don't wanna waste time re-taking them again.

sigh.

but on to the happier stuff that happened!
haha.. stayover with illegetimate NA was fun!
okay, not exactly fun when it's supposed to be ultra-mugging session.
too bad dum&loser wanted to stay home to ask her smart brother qns.

it's rather demoralising when u realised that u're the dumbest among ur friends.
like with friends who aim for 270 for PSLE,
when i only got a lowly 245,
i do feel rather ashamed to be associated with them.
and i really think scoring well in PSLE is a direct association to being smart.
but of cos there are the exceptions.
like a friend's friend's friend,
who only managed to score 188, but stil made it to NUS Engine Fac.
amazing.

and so now.
it's time to plan my time-table for the holidays.
stupid.
1 week will be wasted staying at home.
'cos i sprained my pitiful ankle AGAIN.
AGAIN AGAIN AGAIN!!
:(
that means, my ankle will be prone to more sprains in future.
which means i will have less time to go out,
which means i will be stuck home more often,
which means mum will be happy,
'cos she likes me to stay at home(i hv no idea why),
which means i will not have time to watch all those nice movies showing NOW,
(think Polar Express, Bridget Jones, School of Seduction, the Incredibles)
which means i will spend less time with my favourite friends,
which means i will become fat frm plopping my ass in the bed the many days,
which means i may get back and butt ache from sitting down the many days,
which means my exercise plan is screwed.

WHY WHY WHY???

oh well. perhaps the pple up there think i'm not reading enough.
luckily my room's well-stocked with all the Yi Shu and palmistry books.
enough to keep me entertained for more than a month.
i will strive to become a little better than an amateur palmist.

haha.
alright.

oh yah!

BIG THANK YOU! :)

to dearest ying, for accompanying me at Coffee Bean.
she valiantly fought her running nose to keep me and my pitiful ankle company.
ah...
silly me just got to sprain my ankle RIGHT AFTER my exams.
can u believe it, the moment i set foot in town,
walked briskly about 5 mins,
'cos i was late to meet ying,
and 'c.... r...... ack'. ok, maybe it's more like 'crack'.
that was it.
i knew my ankle was gone.
so i was in the middle of the pavement leading to taka.
(how maluating)
whining away about how my ankle hurts,
oblivious to all the kind, helpful, (and some dictating) strangers around me.
(why dictating? 'cos there was this woman,
who kept instructing me not to get up.
she was like, "Sit down! Don't move!! I sprained my ankle before too!
The more you move, the more serious it will get! Don't let the blood flow to it!")
i know she meant well.
and seriously, thanks to the man and woman who helped me up.

i love Singapore!

ok, not all, but i love most Singaporeans.
deep down in my heart. :)

still waiting at 7:50 pm
