flashes in the mindit's been a really busy time since the 2nd last blog entry i made.
AIESEC Singapore NLDS 2004 (9th to 12th Dec '04)
- made a whole lot of friends there... frm Indo, India, Thailand etc.
- workshops on motivation got me thinking on wat i really want to achieve
- had the least amt of sleep i ever had in a day this year
- food sucked
- being able to get to know so many pple & their cultures better,
juz made up for all the inepts of NLDS.
- and i must say that the OC(ORGANISING COMMITTEE, not that show on tv) really did a great job in organising it... it was really tough hving to deal with so many pple and impromptu situations.
Mus'Art practices
- i've come to realise that i really hv a passion for band music,
and wat really keeps me gg every sunday, which is originally planned
for family outings or just to chill and relax, is my love for band music.
- OH YES!

samba, typical band music, classical, chinese, japanese...
pple not from band, i'm pretty sure u'll enjoy this performance too!
so come on down and support Mus'Art!
A MINDful Xmas Party
- hmm.. honestly, i think it wasn't as good as i wanted it to be.
but well, with all the stuff and planning we've done, it was pretty okay.
and i am really so grateful for hving Marie, Zhenghao and Grace in the organising team.
so glad that we aired all our thoughts after the party.
all the feelings and unhappiness we had abt everything...
:)
and of cos i really shld be thankful for hving such wonderful friends who came down to help me out...
Maddie, for getting the tablecloth for me in such short notice, but i didn't use it in the end.
Lem, for being the queen of funny antics, and master of packing goodie bags, despite her lack of sleep and severe pains in the stomach area.
Pei Shan , for being so enthusiastic about helping me out in the event, and juz providing moral support.
Pearlyn and Siew Khim, for being experts at tearing up magazines, and for helping out quite a lot..
Lin Na, for coming down to help out, although it was only for a few short hours. but really, ur presence just made me feel a whole lot better. u really don't know how lousy i felt before u came down... and when i saw u, everything just seeemed not that bad. :)
Charles, for being so cheerful and happy the whole day! made me feel less tense..
and especially Tim.
gosh. u're really our life-saver for the day. hello!! u still have the emcee thing in u!
hosting parties is just in ur blood man!
organising this event has really taught me many things.
abt pple. abt how irresponsible pple can be.
abt pple. not to judge anyone from a single event.
abt pple. pple are always biased.
abt pple. who truly are ur friends.
abt pple. everyone has their own reasons for everything they do.
do not assume.
do not even think of assuming.
give them the benefit of doubt if in any case anything goes wrong.
appreciate ur friends.
appreciate that u hv ur own mind, ur own thinking.
that u do not make horrible noises in front of strangers.(with the exception of lem.)
still waiting at 11:40 pm
