pimples galore!anyone wants some pimples?
please feel free to approach me.
i'd gladly give some of mine to you.
there's one irritating one on my eyebrow,
how am i to go for my eyebrow-shaping session?
anw, it was to orchard and bugis today.
with ying.
met wen there. great to see her back in singapore!
really missed talking cock with her.
hmm... so tempted to buy this $36 unique looking long-sleeved button top.
it's in one of the shops in level 2 Far East Plaza.
it was so hongkie!
it was a blue colour, with yellow patches of cloth in front..
and it was the only piece there!! :(
i've already planned what i can wear it with..
a plain white tee with my flower patch jeans...
or another white tee with my GAP jeans.
sigh... i need a nice jacket for the freaking cold lecture theatres in sch.
but it was $36...
which can buy me 12 bowls of mee sua with oysters.
or 12 pieces of XXL Crispy Chicken.
damn... i shld have taken a photo of it,
then whoever reads this can give me comments...
BUT!
i guess ur comments are not gonna be constructive anyway.
when u all think that whatever i say is nice is ugly.
tsk.
i shall go try my luck tmr.
-prays that no one has seen it yet-
and perhaps magnanimous mum might be willing to sponsor me.
:D
okay...
actually the main thing i wanted to blog abt today was abt karma.
according to Merriam-Webster Online,
karma: the force generated by a person's actions held in Hinduism and Buddhism to perpetuate transmigration and in its ethical consequences to determine the nature of the person's next existence
and i really think karma exists.
why so?
ying and i were crossing the road back to bugis to take the train home.
and suddenly! in the middle of the pedestrian crossing,
ying said,'eh! there's a wallet!', pointing to the ground.
so of cos i picked it up, hoping there'll be lots of cash so that i can buy xmas prezzies!
of cos not.
i was hoping we could return it back to the owner.
hving gone through the experience of losing my wallet,
i could so understand the flurry she might have been in searching for her wallet.
wasting so much time, tracing back her footsteps to find her wallet.
hoping to find it to save money(for the cost of the replacement of the I/C and credit cards) AND the hassle of replacing cards etc.
so of cos the first thing we did was to pore throught the wallet to look for a number we could call.
but nope, no telephone number could be found.
(which is why we deduced that u should leave your name card, or ur close friends' telephone numbers inside, so that IF a KIND SOUL picks up ur wallet, he/she will be able to return it back to you.)
so we were thinking of sending it to some police station,
but ying felt that it might be very troublesome for both her and us,
and then we came up with the idea of calling up one of the shops in which she had a membership!
this lady only had a membership card with 'Instant Karma'.
(i juz checked about it online and realised that they sell tees. really nice tees. a shop at Heeren)
so i called 100(a bloody 50 cents la!) to get the number of Instant Karma.
And so i left my number and name with them,
so that they can pass it to the lost-wallet lady to call me back.
which of cos she called soon after.
poor ying's stomach was grumbling for food by that time.
msged the lost-wallet lady that i was wearing a green mickey-mouse tee,
so that it wld be easy for her to identify me.
haha.
sounds like some cyber-date kok.
and yes, i absolutely love the $2 green mickey tee which i bought from beijing.
anyway!
she finally arrived after abt 7 minutes of waiting...
and yes, she looked as pretty and cute as she looked in the photos of her cards.
haha.
yep, i saw every single photo of hers.
from her primary school days, to poly days, to now.
she's got a driving license!
dang!
which reminds me that i shld get gg on getting my driving license too!
then she was telling me, how weird this whole thing is...
'cos she picked up a wallet on Monday,
and she called the telephone number in the wallet,
and managed to get the owner of the wallet in the end.
and then INSTANT KARMA called her,
to tell her that someone picked up her wallet.
so, MORAL OF THIS LONG KARMIC STORY:
Don't be an asshole and take the money from wallets you pick up.
Be a nice, kind soul, and u will be repayed. :)
still waiting at 8:51 pm
