Organising Forums

i'm so glad i got the CSR Forum off my back.
though it was such a pain to work through the event, i really did learn a lot from it.
about the admin system in NUS,
that Seminar Room 10 and 11 does not exist in NUS Biz Sch.
(what kok is that right? they hv SR 1-9, and SR 12-15. No SR 10 nor SR 11. where's the logic?!!?
and i took half an hour scouring through the entire Business School only to realise that.)
that there are a lot of nice admin staff in Biz Sch who were kind enough to extend a helping hand to me when i was in dire need for help.
eg. this lady called Jenny in the HRM department. it was 'God's grace'(according to Jenny) that i met her. and also of cos, there's Clara from the Biz Sch Career Services Office, who helped me out in disseminating info to the masses, and settling the auditorium key issue for me. and Suan who was very enthusiastic abt providing assistance to me.
and of course about CSR. though most of time when the speakers were speaking, i was just hoping that nothing will screw up.
that in times of need, u shouldn't expect any help from others. but find your own way out.
and always to get everything done 1 week before the event!!
last min work really sucks.
especially if you're so tired from the day's activities. like gg to the night safari.

oh yes, Jen Fi, Shin, Pim and I went on a trip to the Night Safari!
oooooh! it's been like 10+ years since i last been there.
i was filled with excitement before reaching Night Safair,
but sad to say, except for Ben and Jerry's and the VERY MUCH OVER-PRICED FOOD(eg. S$9 wanton noodles!), everything's still about the same.
the animals which are not very active at night.
most of them were just lazing around, huddling together for warmth.
(yes maddie, it's that cold in Singapore that even the bearded pigs who have quite a thick coat of fur have to huddle tog to keep themselves warm. HAHA!)
and the hyenas were still hiding in the forests.
10+ years ago, i remembered looking forward to seeing the hyenas, and listening to them to see if a hyena's laughter sounds funny.
but till now, the hyenas are nowhere to be seen, and you can only hear some weird howlings. i really wonder if the hyenas do exist at all. perhaps they just plant some loudspeakers in the forest and blast some recorded hyena's howlings.
and i nearly fell alseep towards the end of the tram ride.
just like 10+ years ago.
luckily we got discounted tickets man.
i can't imagine paying $15 or is it $25 dollars to see and hear and smell some animals which u cannot really see or hear.
i only liked looking at the bearded pigs.
did you know...
all bearded pigs are bearded regardless whether they're female or male.
i just thought it was quite amusing. :D haha.

experienced quite a lot of unhappiness and disappointment throughout the organising of it, but am happy that i have rather supportive ER(external relations: the department of AIESEC which i'm in) team members with me. Doreen, Gladys, Zamzami, Kylie, Lina and of cos Tong, Thanks so much for all the help and support! :D

and also to auntie lai, worm and na for listening to me complain about this and that.

and to gloria arroyo for all her funny antics to ease my horrible day.

not to forget all those on my MSN list who did not disturb me when i was always on 'Busy' mode. really appreciated that too. :)

i figured i should note down all the things that people have helped me in and done for me, so that I will not forget next time. must always rem people's kindness to me.

still waiting at 9:52 am
