disappointing behaviours

i don't know if it's just me, but i really feel kinda disappointed at the behaviours certain people display towards me.
such people suddenly come out of the blue and attempt to get to know me better.
and when such people appear, many questions start forming in my head.
"Why exactly are they trying to get to know me better?"
"What is their ulterior motive? Do they just want to use me for future purposes?"
However, I soon get too absorbed in getting to know these people better as well.
And soon those initial questions fade away, and we become friends.
friends in my opinion that is

Couple of months down the road, and I realise that it was just all a "hunting/prowling" session (as sz wld call it).
then these people back off when they find the suitable person.
it's really disgusting and irkful you know.
when all the while i thought the person was just being very sincere and caring.
all a facade, to cover up the act.

if you have a heart, please, do not ever do this to anyone.
it hurts.

at 9:40 pm, November 05, 2005 surrealist said...: nope... according to the personnel at PKU, they'll only send it over in end Nov, but the woman also said, shld be no problem. :D And i checked with my senior who went to Tsing-Hua last sem, she said they only sent it end Nov as well.. so i shld be 88% going there. :)
