the not-so-normaldecided not to venture too far out for my jog today, so i covered 7 rounds around jing4 yuan2.
where i came across some interesting people.
Beida's very environmentally-friendly, so roads are barely lit at night.
and hence good for people to do stuff they wouldn't dare to do in broad daylight.
Example: Practising the 'slinky' dance move.
You know that move where your hands are spread apart, and you make a wave-like move from one hand to the other.
The funny part was when he suddenly came out from the shadow of the trees in front of me doing that slinky move, and he really looked like a snake. Then I tried to get a clearer view, and i realised that he did look pretty nerdy. Well, nerdy people have their rights to practice their dance moves too. Just don't come popping out of trees if u wanna do that.
There were the normal people too.
People who were practising on their harmonicas.
People who just laid down on the grass to relax.
People who were practising their English dictation.
People singing aloud.
And a couple of groups having some discussions.
All on the nice green grass of jing4 yuan2. Grass which you see and feel like rolling about.
Time for me to get a bath.
